I thought 2 Mini-Seminars for Reinventing the Tattoo by Guy Aitchison →
Guy Aitchison is a legend! He one of those tattoo artists that if you are beginning your tattoo career, you should know about. His Biomech Style is timeless and ages like fine wine, because he has been tattooing for ever. But not only that, he was the first tattoo artist that i know of that fought to stop gatekeeping. He made his knowledge available before anyone else through a series of books and DVDs and then eventually expanded to a now Online Platform that focuses on Community and Inclusivity.
I had the honor of being invited to teach 2 Mini-Seminars in 2024: One on Melanated skin and one on Scar Coverups. This was the beginning of my career in tattoo Education.
I highly encourage anyone starting to tattoo or anyone seeking to improve their tattoo skills to check out Reinventing the Tattoo. They have very reasonable prices and lots of available content and community support.
I was featured by Inked Magazine and I didn't even know! →
I was named in this article “20 Botanical Tattoo Artists You Need To Follow” by Inked Magazine and it still brings me business 7 years later. I still get clients who found me because of this. Funny thing is they never reached out to me and i had to find out from clients that I had been featured by inked Magazine an the pictures they shared wasn’t even of botanicals. LOL.
This is what they had to say: “Adriana Hallow, at 10 Thousand Foxes Tattoo studio in NY, specializes in highly-detailed pieces, in bold colors and fine-line black and grey. Of her impressive portfolio, her favorite things to tattoo are animals and botanicals.”
